Delivery Offers

Any Free Delivery or Free Shipping offers will use our Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery service which is a 3-5 Working Day delivery service. If a minimum order value is required to use this offer, then this must be the final value of the order after any discount codes are applied. If a discount code takes the final order value under the specified amount to qualify for free delivery, then the free delivery offer will not be valid, available, or will we be able to refund the shipping cost after any orders are received. 

Delivery via any of our faster (24h) or courier services are not part of any free delivery offers. For orders of heavier (over 10kg) items then charges will still apply. 

Any returns that take the original order value under the specified value to receive free delivery will be refunded minus the £3.95 delivery charge. 


UK Delivery

Orders placed before 1pm will usually leave The Future Kept the same day, orders placed after 1pm will leave the following working day, and usually no longer than within 24 hours of being placed. (during November/December Standard Delivery orders usually ship within 48-72 hours)

We ship most of our parcels using Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 service both of which give full tracking updates and a timed delivery slot. Estimated delivery times will be provided when placing the order, which is between 1-2 working days if using the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service, and 3-5 working days if selecting the Royal Mail tracked 48 service.

We also offer a 1-2 Days Courier service which is a DPD Local service, orders placed before 1pm will usually ship the same day, orders placed after 1pm will ship the following working day. (postcode restrictions apply, please see below)

Orders placed after 1pm on Thursday will ship on Friday and arrive on the next working day, which is Monday.

Saturdays and Sundays are NOT classed as working days.

Orders placed on a Friday afternoon after 1pm, during the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will be processed the following working day.


Both our delivery services offers a range of delivery options once shipped, and provide a timed delivery slot by text message and e-mail for your convenience. You will also have the option to change the delivery date, leave with a neighbour, or in a safe place if preferred once the order is in transit.  

Please note: if 'leave in a safe place or with a neighbour' is selected for delivery we can accept no responsibility for missing or lost items. 

Please note: Parcels that are refused delivery or returned to us because they have not been collected from a depot/parcel shop within 5 working days will incur a surcharge of £8 to cover our return costs.

Standard Delivery in the UK is £3.95 which when you think of the time saved driving and parking, is more than reasonable! (see below for more information about our commitment to only use recycled and low-impact packaging and services)

 Delivery to the EU and Rest of the World

Unfortunately, we have decided to suspend shipping anywhere outside of the UK. Shipping to Europe since Brexit has been a difficult process for both our customers and ourselves. Increased costs, paperwork, delivery times, and an unpredictable service from all of the solutions we have tried, plus the fact that our orders to Europe have dropped almost 90% mean it is no longer a viable thing for us to continue to offer. We wish this were not the case, but it has been entirely out of our hands, and not something we would have chosen :( 

We like to encourage people to support businesses in their own country and as close to them as possible in an attempt to reduce their carbon footprint.  Shipping via air outside of the EU just doesn't feel right to us anymore, so as sad as we are to no longer be able to do this, we hope it means that you are able to find new and wonderful businesses a little closer to where you live, and be able to support them as much as you have supported us since we began in 2014. Delivery Schedule

All orders usually ship within 24-48 hours. (During November & December this can be up to 72 hours) Depending on the shipping service of your choice we estimate them to be with you in 2-3 business days, but this is usually a lot sooner. For international orders the shipping times vary based on the destination. Why No Free Shipping?

Long term free shipping is a bit of a myth, as either people or the planet are paying for it. Our shipping costs are not hidden in the price of a cheaply made item with a huge margin, it's transparent, we all pay for shipping somehow as goods don't miraculously teleport around the world and it has an impact on the environment which needs to be duly paid for. We work hard to bring you the fairest price possible, all our orders are gift wrapped, we use only biodegradable, recyclable or recycled packaging, and work with only responsible delivery providers, our courier is carbon neutral, and we also use Royal Mail where part of the delivery process is often done on foot.
