The making of Guernsey Pannier a Cous is an endangered craft. Claire was taught by her father, Max Gaudion, a retired Guernsey fisherman who made his willow crab pots, pannier a cous and fishing baskets as taught to him by his great uncle Wilfred Gaudion. Claire has been making these baskets for around 20 years, continuing the family tradition.
