The fibres are all hand blended, hand spun and hand woven in the UK, using ethical wool from a flock of rescue sheep, British alpaca, wild silk, nettle and linen, and introducing new fibres including seaweed silk, soy, and rose.

  • Fibres used - Handspun ethical South Downs wool, wild silk, cashmere, Welsh alpaca in sandalwood dye and avocado dye. Coral, peach, nude and pink tones, golden highlights, on a warm-taupe Shetland warp.

The colour palette of warm stone-purple greys and soft shell-peach nudes in this collection are highlighted with the metallic golden lustre of wild silk and highly textured matte wool in soft, custom-blended yarns.

Bright Moon Yarn is ethical and traceable, using the wonderful natural resource of South Down Wool and Romney Marsh Fleece from Sheep Ahoy Animal Rescue in Kent, UK. Once sheared, the fleece is then processed in Cornwall by The Natural Fibre Company. This beautiful local fleece creates the base for all blended skeins used in Imogen's textiles, and additional fibre blends such as wild silk and linen are sourced to meet the highest standards of environmentalism, animal welfare and sustainability.
