Part of a beautifully tactile and opulent collection of organically handwoven pieces made using ethical yarns. This wrap is woven on a heavy and warm warp, making it a thick and luxurious wrap for the colder weather, or if not being worn an exquisite runner for your bed.

  • The fibres are all hand blended, hand spun and hand woven in the UK, using ethical wool from a flock of rescue sheep, British alpaca, wild silk, nettle and linen, and introducing new fibres including seaweed silk, soy, and rose.

Fibres used - A hand-spun textured blend of softest British alpaca, ethical South Down fleece, wild-harvested Muga silk, and Shetland wool. The yarns in this piece have been botanically dyed before blending and spinning to achieve shifting shell-tones of golden yellow and nude peach, using turmeric, sandalwood, avocado stones, onion skins, oakmoss, and crottle lichen, traditionally pot-dyed in Northern Ireland. These dye stuffs are naturally scented with smokey tea scents and a woody sweetness.

Shell-peach warp in textured linen & cotton.

The colour palette of warm stone-purple greys and soft shell-peach nudes in this collection are highlighted with the metallic golden lustre of wild silk and highly textured matte wool in soft, custom-blended yarns.

Bright Moon Yarn is ethical and traceable, using the wonderful natural resource of South Down Wool and Romney Marsh Fleece from Sheep Ahoy Animal Rescue in Kent, UK. Once sheared, the fleece is then processed in Cornwall by The Natural Fibre Company. This beautiful local fleece creates the base for all blended skeins used in Imogen's textiles, and additional fibre blends such as wild silk and linen are sourced to meet the highest standards of environmentalism, animal welfare and sustainability.

Imogen Di Sapia is a British weaver and exhibiting artist-maker in textiles, working with hand-weaving combined with storytelling, folklore and heritage crafts to create her studio textiles.
