Each tray spends time in the 'fuming cabinet' where a remarkable reaction takes place, turning the wood a deep, rich dark brown, whilst also highlighting the wonderful character that quarter-sawn Oak is so famed for. Each tray is finished to a rich sheen in a hardwearing wax and oil blend.
