Queen Idia Candle - with base notes of geranium and frankincense, top notes of lavender, hibiscus and the fragrance of soft African Moss. The inspiration for this relaxing and uplifting candle was the famous Yoruba Queen Idia, a symbol of female empowerment and proof of ancient matriarchal societies. The myth tells of two medicine-filled incisions on her forehead that were the source of her metaphysical power. This candle is bathtime, evening bliss.

LIHA was born from the desire to create a luxe natural and organic skincare brand that blends the rich botanical life of West Africa with traditional English aromatherapy and folk remedies. They create beauty products that are a mixture of natural African roots and a quintessentially British attitude. Like the diaspora that they take inspiration from, their community is rooted in Yoruba culture and spreads throughout the world to share the power of Asé, wellness, slow-living and self-care.
They aim to directly contribute to the improvement of economic, social and environmental factors, opening up new markets and trade routes that will replace traditionally destructive ones. All packaging and materials are made, designed and produced in the UK and is recyclable and reusable.
