  • The Shell blanket is a one-off throw in beautiful pale browns, golds, creams and soft natural hues achieved by vegetable dying ethical yarns. Handspun and woven on the South coast of England, this tactile unique piece is made by Imogen Di Sapia, a British weaver and exhibiting artist-maker in textiles, working with hand-weaving combined with storytelling, folklore and heritage crafts to create her studio textiles.

    Bright Moon Yarn is ethical and traceable, using the wonderful natural resource of South Down Wool and Romney Marsh Fleece from Sheep Ahoy Animal Rescue in Kent, UK. This beautiful local fleece creates the base for all blended skeins used in Imogen's textiles, and additional fibre blends such as wild silk and linen are sourced to meet the highest standards of environmentalism, animal welfare and sustainability.

  • Fibres used - Hand-spun, onion skin dyed ethical South Downs wool, wild silk, soy fibre. Shell toned blush and cream wool with ecologically dyed banding, variegated texture, soft, warm, draping. Linen & Cotton warp.

    The colour palette of warm stone and soft shell and peach hues in this collection are highlighted with the metallic golden lustre of wild silk and highly textured matte wool in soft, custom-blended yarns.
