Wool fibres are naturally breathable, they can absorb large quantities of moisture vapour and allow it to evaporate, and they are also naturally odour resistant! Also ideal to wear about the house and keeping for feet warm in bed at night.

  • Knitted within a long-established sock manufacturer in Leicester. Their team of dedicated craftspeople create quality that lasts, keeping the British textile industry alive and thriving

Materials: Made in 83% soft merino wool, 17% nylon. Our wool is fully traceable and ethically sourced from farms that do not practise mulesing.

ROVE (formally Rose Brown Knitwear) began at a workstation set up around the kitchen table. The label was born from a desire to find quality, long-lasting knitwear manufactured in Britain using British spun wool. The brand has evolved with the modern-day need for sustainable, low-impact clothing by offering organic, natural, recycled, or biodegradable materials as well as a traceable production process. The yearly collection showcases unique designs which can outlive each season and beyond.

Handcare: Wash knitted items by hand in low-temperature warm water using a specialist wool detergent. Never wash on hot in the machine as this will almost surely lead to the item felting and shrinking.

Machine Care: wash on a gentle wool cycle, no higher than 30°C or hand wash. Use a wool care detergent and add a drop of fabric conditioner for extra softness.

Lay the item flat out on a towel and press out any excess water. Do not put the item directly on the radiator to dry, first put a towel on and place your knitted item on the towel to let the heat pass through. Do not tumble dry. You can use the steam from the iron to smooth out any creases or press with the iron on very low heat.

When storing your knitwear, make sure it is first cleaned, as this detracts moths. Lavender bags and cedarwood are also good at deterring those hungry wool lovers.
