Essence + Alchemy is an artisan home fragrance and candle company based in Sheffield, UK. All products are handmade by in small batches with pure botanical ingredients. On burning, the wax is slowly wicked away leaving a beautiful glass for reuse, for drinking, planting or refillable with a new candle scent.

Each Essence + Alchemy candle is a unique scent, formulated with a complex blend of essential oils* to naturally fragrance the home. 

*Essential oils are naturally occurring in plants and trees and have been used for centuries to promote mental and physical well-being. Inhaling them stimulates the olfactory system, the part of the brain connected to smell and when their aroma molecules reach the brain they affect the limbic system, linked to emotions, heart rate, breathing and memory. In this way, essential oils can have a subtle holistic effect with true therapeutic well-being benefits.

Packaged in a recycled cardboard gift box, printed with water-based inks which can be reused or recycled after use. Candles are hand-poured into British made hand-blown glass with sustainably sourced natural rapeseed wax, pure essential oils and FSC certified wood-wick.

The glass can be easily cleaned with warm, soapy water and reused as a drinking vessel, candle lantern, a plant pot or to display fresh flowers.

All candles are paraffin, petroleum, and palm free and Vegan-friendly. Never contain synthetic fragrances, dyes, additives or fixatives, and are never tested on animals, only willing people!
