This beautiful wrap is woven entirely from plant based fibres, with a cotton and linen warp and handspun hemp, nettle and flax weft, naturally dyed using pomegranate, madder and rhubarb. A one-off piece from a new collection of work handspun and woven by Rosemary (Rose) Riedel O’Brien in her Dartmoor Studio.

Rooted in sustainability, authenticity and wild creativity, Rosemary (Rose) Riedel O’Brien is a 21 year old Artist Maker living on the western edge of Dartmoor, Devon. In 2019 she completed a 6 month hand spinning and weaving apprenticeship with Imogen Di Sapia at Bright Moon Weaving Studio, Brighton. She has been developing her relationship to textiles and how they shape our identity for over 3 years now.
