Care: It is best not to wash too often. Because of wool’s natural antibacterial properties, it pretty much takes care of itself. Wool is an incredibly resilient fibre, but it requires gentle handling in water as it will felt with heat and movement, so is best not to wash it too often. Most of the time all it requires is a simple shake, an airing on the washing line on a grey day (not difficult in the UK!) and a gentle spot clean if necessary.
