Ivory Shea is from Ghana and has a light crumbly texture and is slightly lighter in colour. It has a natural nutty, vanilla honey-like scent. It can be used on dry areas, stretch marks, scars, as a nappy balm, or as a base for making your own natural cosmetics.
Ingredients: Butyrospermum Parkii ( Shea Butter) How To Use - all you need is a small amount, let it melt between your hands and apply everywhere - body, face, feet and hands.
Please note: Psoriasis suffers are advised to patch test before use as Shea butter encourages the regeneration of skin cells. People with psoriasis have increased production of skin cells resulting in the build-up which is what is associated with psoriasis. Shea butter contains natural latex, although reactions to Shea butter are quite rare please be aware of a possible allergic reaction.
Uses and Benefits - Shea Butter is known for its high content of fatty acids and its naturally occurring content of Vitamins A and E. Traditionally used as a “cure-all” balm, with women in Africa using it on everything from stretch marks and scars to babies' bums. An excellent natural alternative to petroleum jelly.
LIHA was born from the desire to create a luxe natural and organic skincare brand that blends the rich botanical life of West Africa with traditional English aromatherapy and folk remedies. They create beauty products that are a mixture of natural African roots and a quintessentially British attitude. Like the diaspora that they take inspiration from, their community is rooted in Yoruba culture and spreads throughout the world to share the power of Asé, wellness, slow-living and self-care.
They aim to directly contribute to the improvement of economic, social and environmental factors, opening up new markets and trade routes that will replace traditionally destructive ones. All packaging and materials are made, designed and produced in the UK and is recyclable and reusable.
